The Repeater Node is a node similar to the Node Centre, has all the same sensors and same look/design, but its main function is to bridge the gap between Sensor Nodes/Scatter Nodes and Node Centres if the transmission distance is too great, this mean that Sensor Nodes and Scatter Nodes can be placed up to 30km away from a Node Centre and the Repeater node will bridge the gap.
The Electronics
The Sensor Node has the following Electronics enclosed in a waterproof enclosure from Schnider Electrics and mounted on a 3mm Waterjet cut Aluminium frame, all electrics are mounted on 3D printed PLA metrial and all electronics are commercially available off the shelf components.
